Picture
Welcome to the Red Rock Lakes here in Montana.

Here, you can find so many species of birds including a trumpet swan.

If you look around carefully here, you may find a very talented swan named Louis who can play the trumpet, read, and also write with a chalk and a blackboard. This place contains endangered species also, so please be reminded not to go bird hunting and do not annoy the birds.

Only by just looking at this place already makes you feel special. It makes you feel like you’re a bird, actually living in that place. It will make you imagine how great it is to live here forever just like all the birds.

Now on promotion starting from 83 dollars only! This is a two week tour which is quite long so you will have more time to enjoy all the lovely natural things here!

The Story of 2017-2018 Grade 6 Class Representative
Picture
This whole story started from grade five. I had completed my two years in student council as a reporter and a vice president.

Then came the school holidays and that was when I started listing down all the things I can help the school do as a president. I thought of how Theresa May became the prime minister of United Kingdom in July 2016. She became one of my inspirations to be a president. Student Council has given me so much. I made friends and learned how to be a good leader. That is another reason why I decided to join Student Council again.

August the eighth came which is when the school opened. I knew that the Student Council election will not come long after. And that was very true; one week after the school opened, the Student Council was free for signing up. So many people signed up including me. I was very proud to be one of the candidates.

Finally came the pre-election, at that time, my heart was pumping so fast. A few moments later, the election ended. The pre-election was very fast. It was actually like playing in a swimming pool that suddenly turns into a swift stream, then it turns back into a serene pool.

One week later, the pre-election results were on the board. I couldn’t understand why I succeeded. It was a happy but awkward moment. I think that there must have been more people voting. Another concern I wished to know was that why are there only two people instead of three? In the end I came to know that the third person was a tie between two people. I thought at that time that even though I am president or not, I will still be in the Student Council to work for everybody.

Here is where the most exciting part started. I started writing my speech and making my poster; every part of the poster represented something. For example, the box represented voting for me and the logo of AITIS represented my love and care for the school.

The final election came. This time it was like a garden suddenly becoming the Himalaya Mountains, then it turned into deep Pacific Ocean, then again into a peaceful garden; the election ended in no time.

Without knowing, the results were in Mrs. Hasmina’s room and this was only for the student council, I was grade 6 class representative. According to my  dreams and  inspirations   from above, I am still able to serve the school and be in the Student Council. This story teaches me that whether I win or lose in anything, I should look at the positive side of what I’ve got. It is a good opportunity being a class representative after all. This year, I will do all my best and focus on my next story.

Liquids over 100 ml
This is to prevent spilling. You can bring liquids under 100 ml, but you have to put your liquids in a small zip lock bag. According to my experience, I recommend not to bring any liquids at all, if you will, put in the bag that you will load up.
Sharp objects
These things, not at all because they can hurt people both accidentally and purposely.
Weapons
This is the same as sharp objects.
Flammable Objects
Such things are lighters and matches. You cannot load it either. The reason is obvious because you might start a fire.
Agricultural products
You can bring it but you will have to eat it in the airplane, because your food might have some sort of bacteria which can spread to the other country.
Drugs
Drugs are not allowed because you might sell it in another country. You can even be arrested bringing these things to other countries. If you do, you have to fill in a form or you have to pass immigration.

International Day of the Girl Child
Why Women are Thought to be Inferior?

Picture
Why does Rapunzel have to be rescued by a man? Why does Arora have to be woken up by a prince? Well this is called cultural belief. In many of today’s societies, there are some roles that are thought to be for men but not for women.

Men believe that women are weaker, less intelligent, and both physically and mentally inferior. When they say this to a woman, nothing happens to the person saying but to woman, it is like tearing a part of her soul. Imagine if the same happens to men, won’t their feeling be the same as women?

Women also have lesser choices of work than men. For example, in some countries, women cannot be leaders. They also get less paid for the same jobs as men.

They also get lesser things like love, food, happiness, etc. just because they are thought to be inferior.

Education is also very important for all human beings. How come ignore women? Women are also human beings. It is believed that men do the important work, so they need education. Women do all the housework, which is known as easy work, so they don’t need education.

International Day of the Girl Child is here to discard all the wrong beliefs and show both genders are equal.

What do you think?

Where's Gorge?

Picture
In the heart of London, Frank was lying on his little cushion thinking about how great it will be if he and his brother Gorge get adopted. Frank thought about all the freedom they will both have. But there was one thing that Frank was worried about; being separated from Gorge. Some of Frank’s siblings were already adopted, the others got sick and lost their lives. While Frank was thinking, his eyes started filling with water. He was very sad and scared of his future.

The very next morning, Frank was woken up by the sound of Gorge meowing (or more like screaming). Thinking that Gorge usually never screams, Frank started looking around for Gorge when he saw a gray fluffy ball flying down.

“God blimey, that water was freezing!” Gorge finally blurted out after a long silence.
“Did you take a shower?" said Frank.
“Yeah, I’ll tell you what, never trust that shopkeeper when he gives you treats,” said Gorge.
Before Frank could say anything else, a small family came into the pet store. There was a very tall father, a beautiful mother, and two lovely girls.

“That cat looks so fat and that one looks like one of those fluffy key chains,” laughed the elder sister. “Oh don’t say that Nancy, it will hurt their feelings. Cats have emotions, they can understand what we are saying,” said the younger sister, Vancy. But what Vancy said was not correct. Frank was staring at them with curiosity.

Mr. Wilson, the father, talked to the shopkeeper for a few minutes. Frank knew that he will get adopted, because the family was not paying any attention to Gorge, this means that Gorge will not get adopted. Frank tried telling them by moving his paws, running here and there, and even meowed. But still the family didn’t pay attention to Gorge. And so the family brought Frank.

When Frank finally arrived at the Wilsons’ house after the dizzy ride, Frank saw that the house was neat, clean, and had everything that Frank wanted. The only thing that was missing was Gorge. Frank found a cozy place to sit. Vancy came along and sat next to Frank, then she started petting him. Vancy’s hand was so gentle that Frank quickly fell asleep.

After one month, Frank totally forgot about Gorge. Every day, He would just eat, sleep, and play. When the children would go to school and the parents would go to work, Frank would just play with all his hanging toys. Sometimes Frank felt a little lonely and a picture of Gorge came into his head even though Frank had nearly forgotten about him.

One evening, the Wilsons came back and immediately went for dinner. Frank heard a walking sound. He got scared and went to the closest hiding place he could find. When he heard the footsteps getting closer, he ran for his life. He jumped here and there and even knocked down some glasses. Finally, he found a place to hide in properly. He saw a cabinet open, squeezed in, and closed the cabinet’s door......

What is that creature that is trying to scare Frank? Will the Wilsons come back on time to help him get out of the danger? Please finish the story in the comments below.
